Lately I've heard some less than positive comments (and not just from Mike) about Ryan Adams' most recent musical effort, his album 'Easy Tiger'. Negative noises have focussed on the apparent lack of variation, good hooks, or even good tunes. I'm not known for my controversial positions (and this is hardly equivalent to an admission of being a secret KKK member-communist gypsy jew. Not that much would be). But I think 'Easy Tiger' is Adams' best work since 'Heartbreaker'. Album highlights like 'Oh my God, Whatever, etc', 'Everybody knows', 'Pearls on a String', and 'These Girls' would all fit seamlessly onto that classic alt-country collection, while 'weaker' songs like 'Rip Off', 'Goodnight Rose', and hell even 'Halloweenhead' piss all over some of the manure Ryan's been trying to pass off as compost in the past few years.
We should thank god that Ryan's still out there delivering lines like 'If I could fold myself away like a card table, concertina, or murphy bed I would'. I dont know what he's talking about. But then nobody knows what Hegel was on about it. And he's regarded as a genius. Therefore
Ryan Adams = Hegel = genius
You're not?
By PhilipYour honour, I would like to present to you Exhibit A.
Re: Go Easy on Tiger
By ThomasM'lord, my honorable friend on the prosecution bench has introduced an item that is irrelevant to this case. He is leading the jury to form conclusions at odds with reality.
And that Exhibit is too obscene for the good readers of modestmango
