We're halfway through our second Superburrl and we are still no nearer to guessing who might lift the Lomburrdi Trophy in Manchester.
At this point last year the Detroit Lions had just beaten Denver by 37 points and gone to a 6 - 2 record. However, coming in to this weekend past they were 0 - 7 and facing a resurgent Chicago Bears team at Soldier Field.
Chicago started predictably going up 10 - 0 but after a series of blunders on special teams and a couple of soft touchdowns Detroit suddenly found themselves 23 - 13 up at the half. Not only this but Bears QB Kyle Orton was out for the rest of the game (and the month) so in came QB2, Rex Grossman. Douche.
Step up running back Matt Forte. 126 yards rushing. Bears win. Lions lose.
Elsewhere Minnesota destroyed Houston's Texans and Green Bay lost in overtime to Tennessee (who go 8 - 0 for the season!) So wait...That puts the Pack and Vikings level pegging behind who?
Chicago!
It wasn't just Chicago though, it was another successful Sunday for the Mullet with Philly sailing past Seattle at Qwest, Dallas losing to New York and Washington losing to Pittsburgh.
Detroit Lions 23
Chicago Bears 27
Houston Texans 21
Minnesota Vikings 28
Green Bay Packers 16
Tennessee Titans 19

By MichaelDespite all that time in the gym Phil still has a lot to learn from Porter. You just either have the guns or you don't I guess...
