Thank you

I just wanted to thank everyone for coming to the preview and/or premiere of my first ever film. So many people told me that they expected it to be really boring but were surprised to find that it was actually very interesting... Which is possibly one of the nicest things you could say about my film. It was so good to be able to share with my friends something I poured my heart and soul into, and without a doubt I am now driven to continue with my new hobby.

For those who haven't seen it, you can expect an internet and DVD release within the next few weeks.

*Bow*

P.S. Cathro, thanks for initiating the whooping and cheering during the credits. It felt good. :)

Production Diary, 25/11/09: I think it's done

1:35am - I'm having a celebratory bowl of cereal.

Strange thoughts have been running through my head lately during my day-to-day. Leaving the flat, I often worry that a robber will break in and steal my laptop and the two hard drives I've backed up my footage on. Driving, I often worry that I will be involved in a road traffic accident that would at the very least cut into my free time for editing and at the very worst kill me, which of course would mean I wouldn't be able to finish the film at all.

Currently FCE is exporting the the first cut of my film and it apparently will take "about 2 hours".

1:41am - I'm thinking about getting another bowl of cereal.

Production Diary, 20/11/09: The Final Five

There is nothing left for me to do this weekend. I would say that the project is at 95% with the final 5 still to be filmed next week in the form of the last interview. How does it feel? Utterly unbearable. I want to finish this film right now.

A few minutes ago I went through the entire 40 minutes of film to fix the audio levels and having watched it from start to finish for the first time - I'm worried. Worried that all the interesting parts are actually really boring; worried that all the explanatory bits are actually really confusing; worried that all the really awesome music is actually really lame; worried that this entire thing is actually completely unwatchable.
